Back projection
A method of projection images on a screen, where the beamer, or projector, is placed behind the screen instead of in front. This way, it is easier to keep obstacles out of the way.

Narrowcasting is another word for Digital Signage. This term is being used mainly in The Netherlands.

POS stands for Point Of Sale. Also known as POP, or Point Of Purchase.
Still
A still is a static visual. Contrary to what you might expect, there can be some kind of animation in a still, but it is not a movie. For instance: think of it as a product advertisement where only the background is animated.
