What is RSS?
RSS is a free online news service. You don't have got a RSS-reader yet? Google Reader is a good one, you can download it from here.
Why RSS
When you subscribe to a RSS feed, it will automatically show up in your RSS-reader. Because you only subscribe to RSS feeds of your interest, you will save a lot of time. Instead of searching every website for news, it will automatically come to you as soon as it is available.
How do I subscribe to a RSS feed?
When you click the RSS-icon, you will see a webpage with the RSS-feeds. You have to copy the hyperlink on top of the page to your favorite RSS-reader.

What is Technorati?
Technorati is a website where you can keep track of all your favorite blogs. You do not have to visit weblogs one by one, but you can read and group them all in one single website.
What are del.icio.us, Google bookmarks and Yahoo! bookmarks?
They are so-called 'bookmark pages'. Similar to the 'bookmark'-option in your webbrowser, they save the URL's to your favorite websites. However, the above mentioned sites offer the possibilities to group the URL's, and because the bookmark page is a website, you can access it from everywhere.
